FG Round carbide bur

FG round carbide burs are composed of tungsten carbide, which is three times stronger than steel.

The carbide burs have the ability to maintain sharpness and are used as an effective cutting tool than diamond burs.

FG Round carbide bur is used with high-speed hand pieces and, like latch-type shanks, are typically roughly 20 mm long with a 1.6 mm diameter.

Uses:

FG round burs are used for cavity preparation and creating access points. They can also be used for creating undercuts of the cavity walls and floor.
